I like mixing this yarn with cloth and other lighter weight yarns because it gives a soft plushy texture that I can only get from it. 

100% Wool. Big Merino is a Canadian made yarn  that is soft and easy to hook. This yarn is  sure to give any piece some beautiful texture.

Our "Studio-Dyed" wools  are dyed in-house by artists.   Yarns  are normally dyed in lots of eight and our color fabrics by the yard. Each time we create a new dye lot we update the picture on the website to ensure that you can see what you are ordering.  No two are exactly alike. Water temperature,dyes, mordants and repositioning the wool  all affect the colouring of the final product. 

Dying wool is an art form and each skein is as unique as it is beautiful.
