KittyBea, Yarns by the Sea is a new Collection of coastal inspired colorways. Inspiration is taken from scenic beaches, coastal landmarks & towns, and local wildlife- including gorgeous shells found whilst beachcombing and bright spots to visit. The first location of inspiration is (naturally): Florida!

Apollo is a unique yarn. The Extrafine Merino is fluffy and soft, with added strength from Nylon. The Lurex offers a striking, but subtle sparkle that is perfectly plied with the yarn. It has a light texture and gives lovely drape at the right gauge. Apollo is perfect for garments, accessories, and even socks.

BeachTastic!: Light pools of apricot, sand, mauve, and lavender.

Sea Glass: Pools of aqua, green and powder blue, with accents and speckles of sapphire. 

Mermaid: Pools of aqua, blue, and pink-violet, with speckles/accents of green, turquoise and bright purple. 

Lagoon: Pools of turquoise and green with speckles/accents of blue-violet and purple.

Sapphire: Tonal, rich jewel-toned blue.

Amethyst: Tonal, saturated jewel-toned royal purple.

Emerald: Tonal, vibrant jewel-toned green. 

These colorways can also be dyed on any of our available wool/animal bases.

Instructions for Care

Hand Wash Cold, Dry Flat. We recommend hand-washing all of our products (no matter what the manufacturer says) with a gentle wool wash. Eucalan and Soak are two of our favorites. This will extend the life of your yarn and projects!
